The Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) provides treatment for uterine fibroids, endometriosis, heavy and irregular menstrual bleeding, pain with intercourse, chronic pelvic pain, and vulvar disorders.

- Adenomyosis
- Endometriosis
- Heavy or prolonged periods
- Myofascial pelvic pain
- Ovarian cysts
- Pain with intercourse
- Pelvic adhesions (scar tissue)
- Pelvic pain
- Uterine fibroids
- Vaginal pain
- Vulvar disorders
Procedures performed:
- Robotic and laparoscopic myomectomy
- Hysterectomy
- Hysteroscopic procedures
- Laparoscopic excision of endometriosis
- Ovarian cysts and adhesive disease (scar tissue)
Education
Residents spend several months each year in rotations with general gynecology in keeping with the requirements of the American Council for Graduate Medical Education ( ACGME) During these rotations, robust experience in minimally invasive surgery is acquired, including advanced hysteroscopy, laparoscopic hysterectomy and a curriculum in Robotic surgery.
